Tattoo Ideas

Those of you who have known me a long time know that I’ve kicked around the idea of a tattoo for many years now. My thing has always been that if I’m going to have a tattoo, using my body as a canvas, I want it to be of my own design, and not someone else’s. I’ve had many designs I’ve worked on over the years, and subsequently lost them. Well, I’ve been playing around in Adobe Illustrator tonight, and came up with some new designs. You can see them below by clicking on the image for a larger version. As for placement, I’m thinking on my back, below the collar line, between my shoulder blades. Either that, or a smaller version on my left upper arm.

As you can see, the site has a new design. I cannibalized a widget-ready WordPress theme and created my own out of it. I also took the opportunity to upgrade the software that runs this site to the newest version, since it was running for the longest time on an old version. I’m hopefully going to be doing a lot more with the site now that it’s cleaned up and received some much needed upgrades. In the works are some how-to’s, some more design-related links, design-related rantings, and of course, rantings from the middle of nowhere. So, come back and see me soon.

New PA1N.org site

I’ve just completed the new PA1N.org site, complete with a new forums site. PA1N is an online ‘zine covering a variety of topics from counterculture, politics, current issues, and more. If you haven’t checked pa1n out, go check them out. Our newest issue of the magazine is available for download, and we’re accepting submissions for our next issue.

Evil Productionz site

Evil Productionz is an internet radio station based in Edwards, Colorado. I’ve just completed their new site at evilproductionz.com. There is also a forum site, forums.evilproductionz.com. Evil Productionz is also working on an open source music project, and their website is forthcoming. Visit their site today, and tune in.

The CeeLite LEC

I found the ultimate living room accessory. LEC “wallpaper” that glows at whatever you set it to, all while consuming less power than a flourescent or compact flourescent light bulb. My vision? My entire living room/dining room area and kitchen done in this “wallpaper”.

Apparently it’s not available commercially for home use yet, but my bet is to give it about two years.

Pandorax

A new logo I designed for a small technology firm here in Chicago. I took the idea of Pandora’s Box (which is where Pandorax comes from) and went from there.
The previous logo was hideous, consisting of Arial Bold type, and a circle and a line. My, how creative.
