I was walking down the 1800 block of N. Halsted St. in the Lincoln Park neighborhood and saw this name placard on a door and had to grab a picture.

Bleep

I discovered bleep, and I love it. The above song (requires Flash to play, plays for 30 seconds, hit play again to continue previewing entire song) is a cover of New Order’s Blue Monday. It’s quite a different take on the song. It’s an acoustic melody with spoken word of the lyrics of the song. As far as covers go, this is pretty awesome. Check out the song and bleep, too.

New PA1N.org site

I’ve just completed the new PA1N.org site, complete with a new forums site. PA1N is an online ‘zine covering a variety of topics from counterculture, politics, current issues, and more. If you haven’t checked pa1n out, go check them out. Our newest issue of the magazine is available for download, and we’re accepting submissions for our next issue.
